Ichabod the blue heron is back . . . she's been gone for about two weeks, and I was down on the island, and there she was, fishing on the rocks! Luckily, she leaves my koi alone, and she hangs out when we go fishing, and we always throw her a fish or two. It's amazing to watch her, she's so graceful when she fishes, until she flies, then she looks so awkward, like a pteradactyl or some kind of prehistoric creature.
